專案位於舊金山MOMA對面的Yerba Buena Garden內, 身處於舊金山的文化藝術中心。而進駐於此的Samovar Tea Lounge更是以有機、健康、網羅世界各地茶文化而聞名全舊金山。基地位於Upper Terrace的一棟獨立建築物，原本現代的建築語彙及鋼構玻璃等材質，透過與其他較具故事性的材質及擺飾結合，希望能適切的傳達的Samovar的特殊風味。由於是跨國操作的設計案，有許多與業主及施工單位間的溝通協調需要透過email及電話往返，且當地的法規及基地原建築物的條件限制，更讓此案更富挑戰。
Samovar Tea Lounge in Yerba Buena Garden, just right opposite to MOMA, the cultural center of San Francisco. And it is also famous for its rich collection of organic, healthy and global tea culture in San Francisco. Site is a single building located on upper terrace. With its contemporary architecture elements, we try to combine steel, glass with bamboo, fabric, copper and other exotic decoration to express the sprit of Samovar Tea Lounge.
